fvwm1 software package provides Old version of the F(?) Virtual Window Manager, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fvwm1
fvwm1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fvwm1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fvwm1 *
You will get with fvwm1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
